Philogene would be a VERY good signing. This kid is going to be absolutely amazing. That being said, it would probably take him at least a year to get off the ground.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have joined the race to sign Hull City star Jaden Philogene, sources have told Football Insider.

The 22-year-old shone for Hull in the Championship last season with 12 goals and six assists in 32 league appearances, having arrived from Aston Villa last summer.

Philogene is already in demand from some of Europe’s top clubs, with Barcelona’s interest revealed by Football Insider earlier this week [25 June].

Tottenham have a “concrete” interest in Philogene, while West Ham – whose ambitious transfer business is being spearheaded by technical director Tim Steidten – have entered preliminary talks over a move for the England Under-21 man.

Hull are anticipating the departure of Philogene this summer such is the level and calibre of interest, at a time when there are two years to run on the player’s contract.
