Wouldn't be hard for the club to set a deadline of their own for any sales though would it? For instance, they could have said to Chelsea that if you want to buy Stones then you have to make us an offer we're happy with by the end of July or that's it for this window. Not that hard is it?

But is that gonna stop Chelsea from making comments and having Terry/Cahill speaking out in the press? As long as that window is open, they'll do what they can to force Stones to say "I want to move."
