Same problem as last year creation- Everton MasterCard have decided to whack interest on my payments despite me meeting at least the minimum payment this month. Last year the excuse was that I renewed one day early! I didnt know there was dates from which it applied for interest free! No excuse as to why it’s happened again yet, anyone else had them doing similar?

Have you used the card to buy anything else other than the season ticket? If so, they will start to charge interest. If not, they will only ask you to make a minimum payment each month, no interest for the first 9 months. At least, that is the way it should work.

Never bought anything other than 3 season tickets per year only had this the last 2 years never had a problem before

Do you have to wait for the rice to beep before you remove your card, or does it work the same as if you don't have a chip?
