Our biggest concern is right back, even with Coleman fit, he is hardly the player he was.

His injuries are mounting up season upon season, Kenny is simply lower Championship standard and Godfrey or Holgate aren't adaptable enough.

Come January, we have to sign a first team attacking right back.

Aarons will still be £25/30m so he is out.

Patterson is becoming a Scotland regular so we could perhaps come back in with a fresh bid.

Maitland-Niles could be open for a move because he still hasn't gained a first team spot at Arsenal yet.

Whoever comes in hopefully they have the same impact as Digne has.

But Maitland isn’t a right back.

If you’re getting someone to ‘do a job’ there, Kenny could.
We need a proper right back, if Coleman is to be replaced this season. Which I don’t think he will be.

Well he’s played there plenty of times. He seems a utility player abs maybe sees himself more of a midfielder. But you would think to become a regular anywhere he needs to stick to a regular position, so why not right back.

Brands doesn't fancy it in January windows so he'll leave that for the Summer(?) as well.
It seems Rafael is on transfers. And if the players he wants are available abs we can afford the deals. Then I think we will buy.

Also with potentially Newcastle spending that could open up opportunities. If they buy from the mid/bottom prem teams

Coleman is 33 tomorrow. He should NOT get an extension. Stop clinging on to player forever cover or not.
Reckon Coleman should get to stay (in one way or another) for as long as he wants. That doesn't mean he should start or get big wages.

If Norwich drop the price to £15-20mil Id get Aarons.

If we could sign Nathan Patterson and Calvin Ramsay for the same price then Id sign those two together.

If we dont have much money to spend Id sign Mazraoui from Ajax as his contract is up in the summer.
I'd take Mazraoui in a heartbeat...he'll go for more

Norwich wont drop there price for Aarons with someone like Newcastle having a blank check!
Same will go for McNeil & Burnley.
We can pretty much kiss goodbye to being able to battle for any English player aged 20-24 at any good value
