The oft discussed argument as to who is an Everton 'hero' is again rearing its head due to Ferguson's appointment. So, when you were young, who was your idol ?

Big Nev. I'm genuinely at a loss as to why the club don't get him more involved (especially in the charitable work) when we give token contracts to coke heads and jobs for life to players who never deserved the chance to play for us.

Duncan Ferguson actually, growing up supporting Everton in the 90s, he was a big character, bare in mind any sane person would only class a footballer as a hero up to the age of about 14 then that's all Everton offered me

In a team of great players he was the greatest,one of a handful of world class footballers to grace our shirt

Because he's called bill and the board out numerous times, he knows their losers and they know he knows their losers, so don't want him exposing them
