Amazing video this. The Tony Gubba introduction in the Everton trophy room - with the cabinet that John Moores installed that was big enough to hold the European Cup for when we win it.

The pressure being put on Gordon Lee from shareholders, unhappy at the club finishing one place above the relegation zone the previous season, and not winning anything for 10 years.

The empty seats in the ground during the match, at the start of the season.

The fans interviewed at the 4:46 mark.

Woman: "I want the manager to go"
Tony Gubba: "That's very harsh - you were FA Cup semi finalists last season"
Woman: "Big deal, he's had three years to prove himself and it's time for a change, he's hasn't done it"
