What does Slovakia have to do with the Soviet Union?

The phrase I used 'Soviet suburbia' was referring to the ugly blocks of flats which are on the edge of most Slovakian towns and which were built in the days of Communist rule - it was a phrase we used when we were there and nothing really to do with Russia. If I know my history, though (and my memory is getting rusty these days) 'Soviets' were the revolutionary councils, so just take it as 'council blocks'.

I'm booked.

- Fly Manchester to Prague 7.30AM, rent a car and 3 to 4 hour drive to wherever the game.
- Stay over where the game is.
- Back to Prague Friday morning and fly to Lpool at 2pm.

180 each all in flights, car hotel. Haven't booked a car yet so if anyone else is doing the same could sort a mini bus or ppl carrier?
