Everton celebrating their Irish connections

No leprechaun hat on offer? Honestly, if they are going to go down such a hackneyed route, the least they could do is a big green hat with a stick-on ginger beard in honour of our Celtic cousin, the Moyesiah.

Haha, my daddy who was from Donegal used to go to the St.Patricks parade every year in Manchester and always brought back those hats for me and my brother.

You always saw a load of Irish tricolours at Goodison. Haven't seen much of that since the first game there against Brighton when I noticed one or two.

Yet another reason why the place is so alienating.

It's great that the club are celebrating their Irish connections. But Wales is only just over 10 miles away as the crow flies and you can easily see Wales from our stadium. Plenty of top players as well. I'm not from Liverpool myself (although I don't live that far away) but I do have ancestral ties to Merseyside and most of those were originally from Wales (and Cheshire). I always think Welsh links to Liverpool are generally under appreciated.
Can't see a load of red Everton stuff selling particularly well.

We should all buy a shirt and then organise a march
