I'm not taking anything away from Everton's performance, it was much better than Wednesday but Spurs were certainly not up to it. Hopefully we can get stronger each week.

Yeah I couldn't believe how poor they were. No idea why they didn't have Richarlison on from the start with Solanke not being available

Game finished over half an hour ago and I'm still expecting Spurs to make it 3-3.

It's funny isn't it? You have a manager who constantly tells all and sundry how poor his squad are... The result is they play with no confidence and look poor. Same set of players,coached by somebody who reminds them that they can actually play football, the same players look so much better and are moving into space and asking for the ball . Yes there were some mistakes, the second Spurs goal was alright lash up between Pickford and Keane, but, on the whole, it was a huge improvement.

I thought Lindstrom and O Brien did well. Passing through the midfield rather than bypassing it, with some good forward momentum.
However, when they scored the confidence seemed to drain from us.
Sat too deep and invited pressure.
Subs weakened us further.
Would have been better going going 3 at the back, with O Brien staying on.
Patterson wingback. Armstrong to give us more energy in the midfield.

3-0 up at half time, could have been 5. Spurs on the back foot.
Same old Moyes. Total negativity. Three defensive substitutions, simply letting the opposition know that we will sit back and try to cling on.
Five more minutes and we’ve have drawn or lost this one.

I'm a huge fan and advocate of Pickford, yet without their first goal I couldn't see them getting anything from the game; the substitutions were not the issue.

Absolutely and he should be asked questions for them. In the same breath I'm giving him benefit of the doubt he noticed the issues late on. And of course huge credit for the first 70 mins.
