That's not exactly a new thing though.

Jack Walker's Blackburn
Mersey Millionaires

teams used to develop their own players more though and 'smaller' clubs weren't always resigned to losing their best player to the same four or five clubs every year. We used to enter each season on an even footing so did most teams now we can't compete at all and thats down to money

What exactly are their shrewd buys? Lescott for 22M who almost cost them the title. Tevez for 25M (and 150+K/week to practice his putting during the season)? How about Robinho for 30M, Santa Cruz for 18M or Balotelli for 20M? Wait there is also Dzeko for 25M too. Let's not forget Milner for 30M (was he even on the bench?) and Johnson for 10M.

No Yohan Cabaye pushed a ball boy over in the first half which went unpunished by the ref, Cahill was seemingly pissed off with it and waited for the game to finish before choking Cabaye and then trying to headbutt tiote i think haha.

Pretty damn stupid then really, he's there to play a game not be defender of the ball boys, he's now gonna miss the first 3 games of next season.

Not strictly a bad thing but still stupid none the less.

Send your letter of complaint to Rupert Murdoch. He has well and truly fooked the game.

Peanut will get one today, Jelly also and I would love to see the Strac come on and score he is a favourite and I wouldnt mind having him permanently as a back up depends if he fancies being on the Judi

3-1 to us today, my bet has been an accumulator
QPR to beat City
United to win
Us to win
The RS to lose

Cabaye did apologise to the kid at half time, went over and hugged him.

Good thing is that someone will be playing in that Cahill role next season, so him going missing isnt much of a big deal
