The idea is valid if you have legitimate options on the bench to maintain the skill level while adding the energy that’s missing
Alcaraz at least showed last week that he could, and a straight swap with Doucoure could have been beneficial. To be honest I was so surprised at how bad United were in that first half, I thought they were there for the taking in the second half.

Our complacency and poor officiating (aside from the penalty) let them back into a game that they were out of. Lack of game management.

I've completely ignored any and all football today as I've been out about and doing family stuff. Quick scan if these pages suggests we perhaps let them back into it to an extent, but they were given a large helping hand by the officials. Fair?
You didn't miss much. It was an UGLY game. Still robbed. But better off just watching the highlights

Had time to digest this. Penalty was insane but we shouldn't have let them equalise at any rate

Agree with this generally. Despite the nonsense officiating they should never have been in a position to get anything. We have to be better than that.

The annoying thing about the penalty - the absurd lack of justice aside - is it will take attention away from how appalling the referee was throughout. Constantly pulling us up for the same or less than the players wearing the red shirt.

For as far as I can remember we don't try and kill off teams when we are on top.. United are poor and were there for taking today, especially after that 1st half.
Amorim looks completely lost on the sidelines and if Moyes would've reacted sooner to their changes 2nd half we couldve stayed on top.
Instead we sat deeper and our mid had ran out of legs after pressing the life out of them for 60mins.
Iroegbunam has shown enough to get him on earlier and it was plain as day Doucs was spent, we've seen it nearly every game where he runs himself ragged and after an hour his legs completely go and he becomes a liability and this in turn let's the opposition take over the midfield. Alcarez wouldve provided a bit more quality and kept the ball.
Moyes has came in and been unreal but that 2nd half took me back 15 year, we had nothing to lose by trying to kill off united, but he sat on his hands til all momentum was lost.

Shocking today. Stood there thinking this is even worse because United flirting with relegation is good for the leagues profile and they still see fit to be so corrupt.
