As much of it was our own doing, if the ref hadn't given United a freekick for every single inconvinience and tap they had, and hadn't been so blatantly biased (or at least so incompetent at refereeing fairly) the first goal wouldn't have ever come about, and the momentum wouldn't have shifted, and the mood wouldn't have changed, and the team wouldn't have wobbled, and we'd not -to a man- being having visions of the B'mouth collapse the second Bruno hit the net, let alone talking about it six hours later. United didn't just "get out of jail" today, they were helped out by the people in control of the game IMO.
Agree 100% with this. The referee was so biased it could not have been incompetence. If it were, we would have gotten our fair share of the bad decisions.

Yeah think I'd disagree on one of them where our wall on that free kick was gaping. Obvious that the ball was going where the two manure was standing
I question Pickford more than anything for that one. He seemed to have made his mind up what was going to happen and left a massive space to aim for.

Going for a beer. Still totally sick by the happenings today. It really is an us and them league now i have sadly finally admitted.
Not just the farce and cheating around the overruled pen either.
I keep asking for our lads to be a bit more vocal, claiming for everything and in the refs face for 90 minutes as that sorrowful shower did today.
I do realse why we can't though. If Tarkowski as captain merely questions a ref it's a yellow, same for the other lads.
Yet we saw that wretch Maguire today, absolutetly berating and full on with the ref.
And that was just for being fairly out muscled and swatted off the ball like an U14 player by first Tarks and later Beto.
So blatantly biased officiating depending on what team you are.
Well done again Moysie by the way. Very close and robbed😍 COYB

Can’t understand some of the fume at Moyes over his subs.

He has changed us around and we are an already thin squad suffering an injury spell not too dissimilar to Spurs that has been talked about by pundits as an excuse for far worse results.

The team did well for an hour and that lack of energy told.

We were Dyche fit which meant we could sit back for 90 mins and hope to catch a lucky goal from a nothing chance.

In contrast. Moyes has us playing aggressive and front foot football which requires more energy so it’s no wonder this team can’t do a full 90 mins at that pace just yet.

It’s like asking someone who’s done a couch to 5k to run a half marathon instead.
That`s why you bring on subs, so that at the hour mark you get fresh legs on and keep poor teams like United on the back foot. Too late to make the changes when the game turns on its head.

Nah it was a blatant handball, he had no reason to have his arm up like that other than to block the ball.
He turned his back at the same time. Im not saying it’s a bad decision, just that if it hadn’t been given then I don’t think there could have been any complaints
