I'm totally convinced it's not incompetence, but motivated and driven by sheer corruption. They don't even try to hide that anymore.
I'm convinced VAR was just a more reliable way to influence some games and the narrative of 'the best league in the world' trademark... Whatever you thought about the actual incident, to not show the ref a replay from the other side where you could see the shirt yank and just show the one angle over and over is more than suspicious

100% spot on, nailed.
Surely the nonsense has to stop.
It is a crazy situation when 5 minutes is needed to decide such a close decision. It should in no way have gone to VAR. It is not what the game is about.
Exactly what VAR wasn't supposed to be. It was supposed to be streamlined, quick and efficient. If they keep persisting with this then have the clock stopped. Let the ref watch replays on the big screen and talk through it with VAR with the conversation transparent and everyone able to hear it. If they can't do it right just go down the rugby route. It seems to be getting worse each season. They have had plenty of time now to have got it right

a few weeks ago I would’ve taken a point happily. Definitely a game of two halves. Not having an adequate sub for Lindstrom really cost us. Alcaraz should’ve come on much sooner and that’s on Moyes. Can’t see Doucs or Young staying beyond the season. They cost as us much as they give.

doucs will get a new contract

If it wasn't given originally, you say okay. The refs missed De Ligts pull. You are still fuming but there is the benefit of a doubt to the refs there. They can't spot everything. It was given. They intentionally show him the wrong angle to influence his call. He didn't ask questions and even though you could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt he wasn't fouled, they overturned it. The ref just decided it was easier to take the fall from us than them. Pure and simple.

so showing him the wrong angle

they knew what they was doing !

Anyway, yes, we are fed up. Everyone pointing out who they think are to blame... the ref, VAR, Pickford, Moyes, Doucoure, though he scored one and assisted the other. But, though I'll no doubt get abuse from the negative miserable ones here, my POSITIVE takes are... A few weeks ago we'd have gladly accepted a point against MU. And, it's one more point that takes us upwards. And with the thin squad we have and the lack of quality in many positions, we are ultimately doing well.
Onwards and upwards

If that was a foul for them, then var wouldn’t have changed the decision and that’s why everyone hates it. Their first goal came from a poor decision by the ref for the first free kick (not the handball) and it was all day with him.
