Bout sums it up. Lot made of the pen and rightfully so but we threw that away in the second half.

Shocking refereeing aside, it's disappointing but that's all it is.

The game wasn't over when we were 2-0 and 2-1 up so we didn't have 3 points. Did we end up losing? No. Are we getting relegated? No. Will fans of other teams be spewing their guts about the ref and VAR in a few hours time? Definitely and most definitely by 6.30pm tomorrow.

It has always been this way and will always be this way. That's one of the reasons we'll be back next week. Football has been a business far longer than it's been a sport (even well before this blatantly corrupt version we have had since 1992). I'm glad I support Everton and nobody else.

They are incensed by the red card shown to Illia Zabarnyi after a review by the VAR.

Salisbury just gestures to them as if to say 'get off lads'.

It wasn't given because the penalty area was situated the wrong side of Stanley Park..

First half was the best togger for years. God, i felt good. Smiling and buzzing.
Only the var inquest into goalmouth headabput ruined it. Var sucked the joy out of it and all for nothing. Absolute nonsense.
2nd half we were 2nd best. We clearly had taken our foot of the pedal.i didnt understand the free kick retake. Strange ref decision.
Their 2nd goal de ligt pushed Branthwaite . Var said no it about 5 seconds

Then the penalty . Ref gives it. He stops the game.ball was in play
Then, useless var again.they cant said its not a pen so go and look. Then only show him one angle. Absolutely useless when it started and no better now.

Look at it another way.

Dyche has gone and we look like a proper football team again, who play footy with confidence, rather than nine men behind the ball, with an isolated striker, waiting for aimless hoofs and who crumble the moment they go behind.

There was always going to be some bumps along the road before the end of the season and we can`t win every game.

It`s just one of them mate, we go again.

Said he got his shirt pulled twice an couldn't understand why he overturned it

why was it overturned? Just seen it, was it cos of youngs theatrics? No worse than the 75 pens salah has won this season tbh. As I keep saying though the level of very obvious corruption is becoming embarrassing
