Sh*tbag.

It's the way he leaves his foot in there instead of jumping back after the initial contact which proves the deliberate intent.

Re; Hansen and Lawrenson: Anyone who is is devoid of talent, charisma, communication skills, eloquence, no track record other than the basics (eg. player NOT manager) who has a HUGE AND ONGOING BBC contract has a smell about them. Now then, now then...

Count me as glad we got the point. But I have to say, Luis Suarez is one of the douchiest people in football. When he dived in front of our bench I wanted to drop kick him in the nuts. How his teammates associate with him I don't know. What lessons he teaches his daughter, I don't know. Cause based on his diving and general behavior, I fear for her.

Overall - worried about our defense against pace. I see some praise on here for our midfield, but I cannot wait until we get Gibson back, and I don't want Fellaini playing where he is. Neville + Osman are just not good enough in midfield where they are playing right now. They just aren't. Their lack of pace is exposed repeatedly.

Mirallas was absolutely quality today. I still wish he would pass more often, but his general guile is awesome. I think he's better than Drenthe ever was because he makes better decisions on the ball - usually where to dribble himself, but still.

Seamus had a good day going forward, but was exposed defensively... And Naismith was "meh" other than his goal. Can't wait to get Pienaar back.

I think Jelavic will come out of his funk...

Whatever, we are still higher than them in the table, though the points lost here are a bummer. Onward and upwards.

their second goal was all down to our defending. once they got the soft free kick we set up all wrong.
If you watch the replay of the goal distan is marking suarez, then just as gerrard makes his run up to cross the ball distan calls jelavic forward to mark suarez and then runs to the back post before jelavic is anywhere near suarez. the ball comes in and suarez is in achers of space.

If you have the wrong man and the freekick is being taken, stay with the man you are with and deal with it. common sense really. never try and swap as the ball is being played.

He pointed out the not offside goal correctly, but as I expected never mentioned the headed pass to Goofy for the goal -it was amazing coates vitual climbed up Jags back & used his hands as a polevault to hold him away so he could head it back across goal almost a rugby move!

Can't believe there's been no mention of this at all. Even moyes didn't say anything about it.

We've got problems in the central defensive position very poor again yesterday, no one is commanding in that position.

Quite worrying as we have always been strong defensively.

it pains me to say it but Jagielka could have gone for taking sterling out. Also, whilst we had first team players missing, so did they, as exemplified with them playing kids. Just one of the many occasions when we have failed to put away a below par Liverpool side. They raised their game yesterday and we didn't. We and the rest of the Premier League expected us to win but once again we weren't quite at the races. Still more than confident we will finish above them though.

Considering we were 2 down after 20 mins we should be delighted with a point and they should be gutted.

I haven't had time to read all this, but I made a point of going to the hour mark of the match to get the reaction to what Skrtal was doing to Jelavic.
This was in the lead up to Coleman passing the ball across the goalmouth when Jelavic was trying to get on the end of it.
Did no one see Skrtal hanging on to him with both hands? It started about two yards inside the box and continued in the six yard area. He was holding his left forearm with one hand and the back of his shirt with the other. This, all the way for about ten yards.
Nothing from the commentators - no surprise there - and nothing on here, which does surprise me.
It was a dead set penalty, no arguments.

At least Mark Lawrenson had the balls to admit in today's Mirror that the game passed their young players by, whereas Hansen somehow considered them to have played "magnificent" on MOTD 2 last night.

Agree.
It's bizarre the way we set up against that free kick. We had our 2 tallest players, Distin and Fellaini, along with another our players (not sure who) defending the back post where there was 1 RS, and not one of their taller ones at that. Distin did the organising and then at the last moment ran across to the right. Jelavic was slow to move over, and he is not a CB anyway. The RS has 2 players completely free in the middle, Rat Boy being one of them. Awful defending. Forget the argument over whether the RS should have had a free kick or not, we should have defended much better.

He's shows respect for himself, his fellow players and club too, unlike Drenthe. Little doubt in my mind that Suarez targeted Mirallas because he was making their right back look more like Norman Wisdom than Andre Wisdom - Suarez just took him out.

As a human being Suarez is only marginally behind Hitler........

Efing reds***e bleating again!!! Ignore the disallowed goal and wether it was or not. Don't know if I am the only one to pick up on this, but Everton were pulled back after taking a quick free kick when they were defo going to score (2 on 1 with the keeper) and probably stitch the game up, yet later in the game the ref allows the SH**E to take one quickly.
As 4 suarez the sh**e have a history of wingeing horrible Fu**ers playing 4 them.
1. El Hadji Douf
2. M Lyn Hughes
3. Pinnocio etc. etc.
