It's pretty simple, our subs are better than our starters. Love Moyes but it's criminal putting Alcaraz on the bench, don't understand it one bit.

It paid off in the end and we left with the points in the bag, also starting the team how he did, it put him in a situation to change at half time, which we haven’t seen.

So his possible mistake could actually benefit us in the long term.

Good 3 points but it's not how you want to win a match is it...that first half was pathetic.

Quick one: Was it a poor header from Beto or just a great save? Been hearing different schools of thought on it.

It was a very good and possibly lucky save. Henderson barely got over and it hit the outside of his lower leg. He didn’t know much about it.

Palace also had a couple players near the goal line so Beto didn’t have a lot of room to get that header through.

Thought it was a good header and equally good save,albeit straight at him. Beto got above the ball and headed down, as you should do. How many times have we seen him head the ball over from the same distance?

Thumping header. Plenty of power on it. More of those will go for goals, even indirectly (rebound, earned corner, etc) than go for naught.

As for Grealish's technique, or alleged lack thereof - he was in the box, looking to make trouble. How many times in the last few years have we seen a shot get saved, or hit the woodwork, or deflect off a defender.... and there are no other blue shirts within twenty yards to pounce on the loose ball?
