Hahaha, Apollo 13 ffs. Great imagery. Superb pics as well - I'd nearly fotgotten that Bobby Gould played for West Ham.

Fully expecting the lads to go out and put in a performance for the departing gaffer. West Ham will make it difficult of course but we should win this 2-0.

Steady 2-0 IMO. Absolute tears at the Cleveland basement reference and the continuous use of the word 'bell'.

there's always one line that gets me as I've said before. Came a little later than usual this week, but the and "football bukkakied over their grids."......outrageous!

This is gonna end up 0-4 to West Ham. Like the infamous 0-4 Bolton handed out to us a few years back. This will happen cos Big Sam will psyche his boys up just so that he can make Moyes look a cock and say that Man Utd shoudl have chosen a 'top manager' such as his good self...

Good preview Chico in tricky circumstances...

Hi 1st time poster, I am a Hammer and coming up to Liverpool tomorrow for a good night out and then footy Sunday. Why would the DiCanio thing annoy you mate?. I must say I am really looking forward to visiting Goodison again, proper stadium and the atmosphere should be great, with all the Moyes stuff going on. I know i'll defiantly show a lot of respect to the man, he has done a brilliant job and leaves you in a good state. I reckon it will be a draw personally and i'd be happy with that. Hope its an enjoyable match, with the pressure off and both teams go for it. COYI

Welcome

There’s going to be two hundred cameras taking photos of Moyes’ every expression as a sideshow. You’ll not see Everton patronised this much for quite some time unfortunately.

Nailed it. Personally, if we're not arsed about it then it won't bother us - probably the way to approach it. We've had a very good season which definitely deserved europe from it - we're on par with what most of us believed, but our records vs the other top 7 clubs has been very good, hope the players get the round of applause they deserve.

Moyes deserves a good hand as well for his great job here, but that should have been left to when he returns next season with his new club. Changed my mind on him taking charge of the last two games - ah well, at least it'll give this match something to talk about

Appreciate the comments like, hopefully the evil overlords will reinstate the rep system so I can acknowledge it without interrupting the match thread soon.

If we swerve defeat here then we will have lost just one league game at home all season. Frustrating that at a stage where were only a couple of decent players away from troubling them four places that were likely to fall back somewhat. Unless we get an ace new manager in which case go on Everton there.

There's only four goals difference in it so we'd be at least level with them on goal difference, probably better mate.

Pah regardless, it's deluding ourselves to think such a thing would happen.

keep the faith. Ha. The siggurdson goal cost us tbh. If bale would have been out for the season like we hoped we would have overtaken them i feel. A season of so many ifs, buts and nearlys, story of moyes' tenure really. I'm not too disheartened about him going if i'm honest, anyway, there's plenty of threads for that.

Do you think your general not arsedness about footy at the moment is because the season is drawing to a close and we have nothing to play for? you'll be buzzing your tits off next season if we have a boss 20 goal striker and a portuguese manager

Not sure could be end of season blues mate. Can't be arsed with us going backwards after we've been making babysteps forward of late. I'm worried with this foreign manager fascination that it never usually turns out that ace. Dr Venglos all over the show. The Porto fans generally don't like their manager, that's got to be a worry surely?

I'd trust his record of 0 wins all season and Champions League last 16 over them Jarg-Spanish beauts.

would be weird having a foreign manager at Everton....think we must be one of the only top flight clubs never to have had a manager outside UK and Ireland
