Fed up of this sit back and hope style of football, get it sorted like Sunderland, Bournemouth etc have. Pathetic show yesterday should be embarrassed and compensate the fans . 3-0 to spurs on that showing.
No way we get lucky next season like we did this season with the away matches.

We would be right in the relegation mix but for those away wins with 20% possession.

First thing the Friedkins need to do is sack him; keeping him for another season would be criminal.
I don’t know about sacking him or change and start afresh?
I don’t think anyone coming in has solid foundations to build on. The squad needs major surgery. If we persist in playing the way we have done then full backs has to be the first priority, then you have to address the strikers. That’s assuming we can get a run of games out of Branthwaite and moving o’Brien alongside him.

Would someone like Iriaola want to do that? Maybe he thought his stock was high enough to get the Chelsea job but that’s gone out the window now.

Lets be brutally honest here.

We were made to look like a Sunday league team today.
They were quicker , more inventive and really comfortable on the ball.
They bossed possesion , won almost every loose ball and closed ranks in defence whenever we threatened.

This is a side full of younger players brought in from other leagues less than a year ago headed by an inventive progressive manager with no Prem experience whatsoever .

Moyes and this team were absolutely schooled today.
And its far from the first time this has happened.
👏👏👏

So 6 games ago we were on the cusp of potentially a great season but it's tailed off badly and yesterday for me was our worst performance of the 6, we will likely finish even lower then we are

Ultimately for me it's a mix of a small squad resulting in a defence that was exposed and making mistakes through this period leading to points thrown away, combined with Moyes conservative approach (see playing JOB at RB, not trusting youth etc) combined with our better players being out of form when we needed them, Ndiaye and KDH didn't hit the levels needed

Injuries haven't helped, Grealish, branthwaite and even gueye towards the end - but we desperately need more recruitment in certain areas and more pace in the squad, Moyes I'm on the fence with, I still think Europe is too soon but as a fan base we are desperate to achieve something and as villa and palace show it's a route to finals

This is as bad a tail off as the carlo tail off and it's very hard to take

Spot on, we've looked better against RS, city and Chelsea but were schooled by Bournemouth, Brentford and Sunderland at home, putting aside the defensive mistakes for Newcastle and spurs - there have been some miserable results at BMD

The second half effort, or lack of, was an absolute disgrace

These players are not good enough, particularly the defence.

This manager doesn't have what it takes to win when it matters and push the club on. He's more interested in managing expectations than raising our ceiling.

If Moyes can not get the players up for our final chance of getting us into Europe, what's the point of him being here ? It looked like a testimonial game right from the start, but Sunderland bucked up after half time and really schooled us, shocking display, our players looked like total strangers throughout the game.

That was awful beyond words!
Most of the players, incapable of the simplest of passes, no drive or fight, and from the touchline no initiative or ambition to do anything about it!
An observation or two……
The O’Brien nonsense at RB has to stop, if he plays it has to be centre half - ideally alongside Branthwaite if he can ever get fully fit!
The Tarkowski/Keane thing has to stop, the second Man City goal the other week was shocking between the pair of them, and then rinsed and repeated yesterday! Slow and weak defending!
N’Diaye signed off after AFCON I’m afraid!
Take the best bits of our two “centre forwards” (reluctant to call them strikers!) and still you’d come up with player who’d struggle to get a game at Marine!
I could go on!
Then throw in to the mix the manager’s reluctance to play any other than his chosen few, the lack of opportunities for others, and the timing and lack of substitutions, it’s a hard watch!
Big Summer coming up for the Friedkins, some big decisions to be made!

Not just Moyes though is it, a fair amount of blame has to go to our expensively appointed recruitment team, which seemed totally at odds with the bulk of their signings to what Moyes preferred. So many of them have sat there on the bench for most of the season getting splinters in their backsides. What a waste of a season and a new beginning, something has to change it hasn't worked, a £120 of signings, mostly unused.

They just aren't good enough, two goals were glaring defensive errors and our lack of pace was exposed yet again. The squad needs a huge overhaul but doubt TFG have the will or ability to do it.
