Going to most likely play 532 be great having ndiaye and gana back in the squad and hopefully give these a defeat after that pathetic pentaly given to th

Particularly frustrating match.

If Leeds played well and beat us, I can accept that - but they were very poor and still probably disappointed to haven't come away with a double over us.

I still maintain our lack of pace/tempo all over kills us at home.
Went up with an Everton ST holder he said you've got lack of pace. Trouble is real pace up front costs massive money. Game of 2 halves last night. We switched to 352 when we were 2 nil at Man City. Changed our season we were relegation certs. We had Bijol and Gudmonson missing last night .I think that caused us problems in 2nd half. Great new stadium had a good chat in Bar Coast next to ground with few Evertonians. Think both clubs are building up well and our ground redevelopment starts in the summer. Be a similar sized stadium by 2030. Good luck for the rest of the season

Thought we looked very, very ordinary first half. Had DCL's chance gone in to make it 2 for them I reckon it would have been curtains and the South Stand would have emptied quicker than the Tory shadow cabinet. Much better second half and a very positive return for Branthwaite and KDH. Nice goal again from Barry, still very much a work in progress, but I'd love it if we got Rom in on a loan 'till the summer, I reckon he could teach Barry so much. Felt a second looked likely for us in the final minutes but it would probably have been an undeserved win and we might very well have lost it on one of those last minute corners.
By the way, a heads up for when you're scanning into the turnstiles on your phone - some cheeky get was hanging round next to the fella in front of us and once the fella scanned in he pushed through the turnstile in front of him. Probably best not to leave a gap in front of you and get tight to the turnstile before tapping, mind you, no bugger's going to get round my fat gut when I'm stood there!

Opinions, opinions. Disagree entirely with the comment that Leeds were poor. They most certainly were not poor.
The comments about frustrated European ambitions are way out of place. Take a look at the various fixtures week after week for those in Europe. No way is our squad remotely big enough to cope with Europe. Maybe in a year or two if we recruit heavily.

How many more players would we need do you think?

We had 20 last night with the subs & have Tim & Grealish injured.

Some upgrades needed for sure but we brought in 7 players in the Summer. If we sign a couple of full backs & upgrade Beto, McNeil & Patterson we can’t be far off, otherwise the squad would be too big.

Please don’t let common sense or reality cloud your judgement.

Thought Leeds played really well first half tbh, could easily have been 2 or 3 up.

Would be happy if i was you looked like a solid prem side and should be safe, i was really dissapointed how we played 2nd half was how we should have started the game.

What I noticed from last nights game is that Leeds actually played to DCL’s strengths. He was their focal target all game and they just hoofed it up to him and aimed to try and win the second balls knowing that he would win the majority of the aerial battles or draw a foul and take the pressure off for them. DCL had a good game and he laid the ball off and helped Leeds go forward so many times. When he had no one to pass to he would just run into the channels and try and draw a fouls Leeds were also a very physical side and they attack with pace so they are going to be difficult to play against. They pressed us very hard in the first half and caused us to make so many mistakes.

I wouldn’t call Leeds style of play pretty however it is effective and that is all that matters in order to try and stay in this league. If they lose DCL to injury it would be a massive blow for them imo.

if and its unlikely you want a stab at Europe you need a bigger squad

Its happened far too many first halves now where we've been completely bullied all over the pitch at home. Its a recurring theme and one that Moyes needs to sort out.

It has nothing to do with the new stadium (as he seems to keep mentioning that it's always difficult when moving to a new stadium) and everything to do with the set up of the team.
