We probably win if we just play 10v11 for 60 minutes and then sub on an eleventh play on the hour instead of getting an hour of Doucoure 11v11. At least when you’re actually a man down you don’t play like that guy is there to do something.

Can't argue too much with that second half performance. Extremely unlucky to not have scored 2 let alone 1. Very positive signs and a definite improvement. First half was very concerning but it's clear to see that doucoure may need to take a back seat in certain games where technical ability is required. I want to see more of tim irigbounam, if he plays with a holding midfielder or two alongside then he's a really good option. And we desperately need more on the right wing

At a very minimum, every player who came on has improved that who he replaced. So at a very low level, at least there’s some competition for places.

Really hope this is a lesson for Moyes. We can't play out from the back against teams like this, we gave them that first half.
