Mate, managers last for years, Moyesy for instance started management 27 years ago and has had a decent career, I'm not placating he should be put out to grass, but for my club I want the best and moving forward I want a younger more dynamic manager, what is wrong with that?I just don’t think age has anything to do with it. People also have completely thrown away the benefit of experience, which is extremely valuable.
Managers rarely last longer than a few years anyway, so their age should be even less of a factor.
You can’t really compare Warnock and Allardyce. When Sam came he had established a reputation as a relegation firefighter.Mate, managers last for years, Moyesy for instance started management 27 years ago and has had a decent career, I'm not placating he should be put out to grass, but for my club I want the best and moving forward I want a younger more dynamic manager, what is wrong with that?
Allardyce and Warnock have plenty of experience, would you rather we went for them?
Mate, I'm not comparing Allardyce and Warnock, I'm offering them together as experienced managers which you want managing our team. You can’t really compare Warnock and Allardyce. When Sam came he had established a reputation as a relegation firefighter.
Moyes is coming off the most successful spell of his career and beat Bill Nicholson’s record for most games unbeaten in Europe by a British team.
I doubt Italians compare someone like Mancini with Fabrizio Castori!
Maybe not, but a semi and a quarter in the Europa is also very good.Mate, I'm not comparing Allardyce and Warnock, I'm offering them together as experienced managers which you want managing our team.
As for stats, so what Moyes has most games unbeaten in Europe, very commendable but modern managers are playing more European games per season than in yesteryear so that's no comparison, one recently introduced Mickey Mouse European trophy win doesn't make Moyes a world beater.
Not arsed who Italians compare with who.
Very good, yes but we're wanting the very best at Everton long term.Maybe not, but a semi and a quarter in the Europa is also very good.
Maybe, but realistically just getting top four would be a monumental step.Very good, yes but we're wanting the very best at Everton long term.
I'm afraid that's a long way off giving the way the ladder is pulled up by the PL closed shop.Maybe, but realistically just getting top four would be a monumental step.
Yep. Luton is sitting at 23rd about to drop down to League One. I’m glad we’re looking up the table with more optimism and worrying a little less about the abyss below.I'm afraid that's a long way off giving the way the ladder is pulled up by the PL closed shop.
I think even united will struggle to get back to top for the next 3 years and they have much higher revenue than us.
Right now I'm just happy we aren't fighting to be top 4 in the championship.
Could be even longer with a few clubs having their sights on a slot in the top 6. Sir Jim and the Glazers are looking more and more like Blue Bill and Mosh on steroids. Hope they keep up the bad work there.I'm afraid that's a long way off giving the way the ladder is pulled up by the PL closed shop.

Reminds me of the Snodin story about the game vs WimbledonFirst time I've ever seen anyone sat behind someone in a wheelchair tell them to sit down.Guy was up all game at the linesman.
