It was Bournemouth, we were always unlikely to win: our biggest bogey team?...Man U and RS are in the conversation but B'mouth gets the gong (imo).
Anyway, onto the next game... very likely we'll lose to RS...

Also playing against a side like Bournemouth wh have fast players all over the pitch, just highlights how outdated and inept our recruitment has been.

The fact that we've gone window after window without adding fast wide players, fast full backs, just baffles me. It matters so much nowadays.

Hopefully lessons have been learned ahead of the summer when we need a squad overhaul

utterly anything and everything we are in now is to off the pitch problems

Too late by then.

We should have won that today. They were injury ravaged and were there for any team who treated them as the better football outfit and bided their time to smash them from set pieces and a counter.

Unbelievably Everton were sent out to take the game to them.
We should have won I agree but they still had a good side on the pitch and our players have shown they aren't good enough to play well consistently.

That's why we needed more in the window. We needed improvements for Moyes.

They have a system they play too, yes. So do we normally. Dont get ahead yourself and think you can dominate possession when you dont have the players to play that way.

I hate to look at Everton's misplaced passes stats today. They'll be off the charts.

We cant play open football against any team that's halfway competent in pressuring the ball.

I’m okay with only bringing in Alcaraz. Moyes is right. Improve and instill a winning attitude. Above all else, remain a PL club. That approach for this year only. Don’t blow limited funds this window was the right move imo. Save it and overhaul in the summer. Then evaluate Moyes on that instead.

How cant you want to win a cup?

Clueless people who need to give their heads a massive wobble.

Dunno Dave, why don’t you tell us why you don’t want to?

I think these players came into this game with a mind Wednesday. Can't be this bad on Wednesday can we? Goodison won't allow it. Officially the last derby there now. Annoying 😞

so what football is it?

Some second half that. Really unlucky.
Sad end to the fa cup at Goodison.1st half was atrocious.Harrison did more in 2 minutes than Lindstrom did all game in hindsight he should have started definitely will in the derby. One of those 3 attempts that hit the woodwork goes in it could've been a different outcome.Var could well have disallowed both theirs goals suspicion of handball in their second goal during the scramble.Thought the referee was poor.
