Just watched to see Alcaraz really.

Thought the free kick was quality and his fitness, desire and layoffs were first rate.

The two issues i had were that it seems next season we may need to go 4 at the back with OBrien & Branthwaite. Thats not solely based on today, more so that Tarkowski cant pass at their level and he doesnt have their physical gifts.

In addition, we need two new full backs. Young was totally illsuited

As long as there is a reaction from Moyes - Young not to make another appearance, Doucs to be dropped - that result won't matter. There has to be consequences for it, though.
I think all the subs he brought on improved on their counterpart. For me that shows a bit of hunger to get in the team and competition for places. At least that’s a start.

And here we go.

Hitting the post three times is easy now apparently.

You and Jake the cake can go and have coffee after the match.

We just got knocked out of the 4th round at home and you're taking the positives. We can't put hitting the post against Bournemouth on our honour list.

The only good thing to come from this is a realisation that there's a lot of players at this club who are nowhere near good enough.

The last ever FA Cup game at Goodison is a 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth and you're saying there's reasons to be optimistic? We are at a nadir as a club that we have not reached since the 50s.
Think about how bad we were just a month ago . It’s all about perspective

Sure we don’t want to be losing 2-0 at home to Bournemouth. But let’s be realistic how bad we were under Dyche this season
