Ok folks.....deep breaths......one..two...three.....And out.
Awful game of football. But it's a point. And for now I'll take that. Better than getting beat. Better than getting sucker punched in the last minute. Better (I think ) that many of us could have wished for.

The trick now is to beat Norwich City. No nonsense.....no mistakes.
I might have been ok with the draw tonight. I won't be over enamoured with a draw at Norwich. Don Carlo needs to find a way to beat them.

Surely tonight (awful as it was) must act as a little confidence boost to our players.
We held the (seemingly)champions elect. We have halted their party for now. Other teams might manage to do the same. Up The Toffees.......

Tell you what, I was reasonably confident were at least wouldn't lose with 20 minutes to go.

I would rather that we did get a few more points. Take the risk factor out of the equation. And yes......we have another point.
So let's now beat Norwich City. And I for one am happy. Maybe then I can relax......And try and enjoy the rest of the season.
Our players might also enjoy the rest of the season. Pressure off and all that.
Pulling away from the bottom teams (for me) is better than getting pulled towards them. Up The Toffees......

They used 5 subs, Chamberlain came on at half - time mate, so the game wasn't stopped for him to come on, therefore they didn't break the 3 windows allowed for subs during the game rule.

That's what I thought.

It was my understanding you could use 5 substitutes but only make changes on 3 occasions.
