decent, the man gave a master class of how to defend against a player who could skin you, and while Iwobi didn’t do much going forward he worked his socks off covering that side. While we may be disappointed in the quality of the football we have just seen we have witnessed a Carlo masterclass in how to handle a team who are better than you. We played the European Champions and nailed on Premier League Champions and if Tom Davis had just been 3 inches to the right with that shot we would have won. I am am celebrating.

thought he had trouble in 1st half and mane spun by him easily once. however he came out in the 2nd and did extemely well.

Carlo is the greatest tactician EVER to work at GP. Our players on the whole are not as good as theirs, but we kept our shape and didn't concede. Get a few better players, and keep hold of Carlo and he'll win something for us.

Coleman on a different level fitness wise than any player we had today.

I'd have bitten your hand off for a point 15 mins to go but strangely enough we should have won that, considering we had Davies and Gomez blowing out their backsides after 10 minutes.

Should be Coleman. Didn't think Davies added anything tbh, I'm tired of his backpasses. just bc he looked better than he has isn't enouuh for me. Had he finished, he'd get the motm

Don't mind the backpasses against the RS as they press hard as long as they are safe which they were.

Agree. Iwobi is never going to boss a game out wide against that opposition. This was proper Italian football. We had a plan, we executed it (and were unlucky with DCL and Tom). We gave them the ball and made sure they couldn't do anything with it.

We're no way playing that way against Norwich.
