Qualified for the Champions League in 2004/5 with 61 points and -1 goal difference. Keep chipping away and see where it gets us

Well, at the very least, it feels good that we can actually talk about finishing in a European spot again.
It’s been how many seasons since we were last able to do that?!?

We all know how it’ll end. Last minute winner in the last game of the season that gets us a place in the Conference League thingy. UEFA kick us out because Roma got their first , Friedkin’s are obliged to appeal , we lose, the ban stands but UEFA fine us 10 zillion Euros for daring to appeal and not being Italian , PL deduct us 6 points for next season “ for embarrassing us in front of UEFA and calling both bodies Corrupt as fcuk “ .

I think it will be more straightforward than that, we will finish 7th, but the FA cup and League Cup winners will be teams that finish 8th and 9th in the league, and no english teams will win any european competitions so 7th place wont qualify for Europe

Ultimately, 8th can get you Europe if everyone performs. Think England are 1.5pts above 3rd, so you're going to get an extra place.

Feet firmly grounded. But given how poor the league is, all it takes is a nice run, Burnley, Forest, Brentford, Wolves upcoming.

All of a sudden, you're in the mix.

Give me a run at the Conference League.

It's clear we're not getting relegated so I think it's about time we started looking a bit further up the table to the European spots.

Some games tonight and results needed to keep our silent charge going.

• Arsenal to beat Brentford
• Brighton v Villa, draw would be a good result
• Burnley to beat Palace
• rs and Sunderland draw would be good for us.

I imagine we will fall just short of europe in the end unless we get a few pieces in January, especially since Ndiaye will be gone to AFCON but I'd like to see 2 fullbacks and a striker with the hope Dibling can start to show why we spent 40m on him.
