Half Time Bovril

Player Valuation: £500k
Today again we lost when being ahead. Too many games when we've sat back and just taken an onslaught. Lack of direction of the game from the manager of the players and the class we are capable of. The players look knacked and tbh when I've seen Velios and Barkley they look like they could take a bit of the weight - but we just drop to the 18 yard and wait for the unlucky second ball - too few changes and too late. A manager attitude thing?
Also Moyes current approach to contract smacks of a lack of the authentic leadership that this club needs. it talks too much of what he wants and starts to mirror Kenright. A great man only because of his relationship with DM but less adept at getting any cash from the pockets of the people who have director positions.
It might be better if we were more open about whether we wanted Moyes or not - not all in his hands - he said himself this was his best squad ever - and it may be that hes just not up to the job . Is it better now if Moyes just goes?

I am sick of us either losing an early goal and having to struggle to get back into a game or losing late goals, when we should be finishing teams off when we are on top. Just not happening. Something's got to give.

moyes says that his decision on staying or going isnt affecting the team........... how wrong. i can see a little bit of the redknapp syndrome setting in. we started off so well, couldnt fault the team. indecision on buying players, moyes contract and the fourth place pressure has just put us back to august 2011. lets just play as we did back in august 2012.

Are we suggesting to set fire to Everton here!

i never get threating statements like enough is enough - let's be honest not buying a second hotdog next week isn't going to get the point across!

Southampton (H)- won
Wigan (A)- drew
QPR (A)-drew
RS (h)-drew
Sunderland (h)-won
Arsenal (h)- drew
Tottenham (h)- Won
West ham (a)- Won
Newcastle (a)- Won
Villa (h)- drew

So 20 points, in games were we were never in the lead before going behind.

Just back from Norwich. There wasn't a single player on the norwich team would would make our starting 11 , same as Oldham last week, time for Moyes to go. Couldn't believe 10 minutes or so into the second half there was a ball on for Coleman from Naismith and he would advance into the norwich half but wouldn't, a few minutes later and we had a free kick into their box and we only put 2 players Into the box. Shocking! firmly in the Moyes to go camp now, EVEN BEFORE OLDHAM !

Nice one mate weird stars in comparison, we go behind and get 20 points, we have leads and loose 19.

I agree it's over for moyes. He's a shrewd scout and clearly gets the team fit.. But he isn't a winner, either in his playing career or nearly 15 years in management. We have had a lot of big money big name players come and go at everton under moyes and not live up to their price tag or the expectation, equally we haven't seen a home grown academy bear fruit either. Top 8 is about where we have settled and despite not having the money of the top three or four, we have got less competitive with the others around us...but my biggest issue is we have stopped being an entertaining side to watch - moyes puritanical roots are showing thro, graft not flair, not losing rather than winning... The message is wrong and we need to fix it while we still have the chance. He is cold blooded about us, he's off to schalke in the summer anyway, why not change it now?
