So we have good chance going down. So the idea of being Simms back when he is getting games and goals in the championship. You would just think you know let’s leave him there for season. The way he was going he could have got 15-20 goals. Least then come the summer you have a striker who is proven in the championship. If we stay up then look to see if he is good enough for the prem or sell for a decent fee.

So frustrating isn't it. Probably even more annoying for Simms too. Just a dreadful way of running a football club.

Actually shows Dyche is sticking to a plan. Simms is the like for like for Calvert Lewin, going to Maupay for his experience would have meant a change in tactics. Dyche has stuck to his plan A from Arsenal here
