Just seen a great piece on Everton in the community on the One Show, shows what a great community Everton stands for.

I just caught this by accident.

It made me feel right proud and I welled up with tears.

Much as this club drives me mad on an almost daily basis, I love it to death and I do not envy fans of those clubs which are currently winning trophies regularly.

Yes got dusty here as well. we have made alot of mistakes football wise over the years but eitc is absolutely brilliant in there work and the club should be rightly praised for there work

While we might not be laden with silverware and the greatest footballers on earth we are undisputed champions of work like this.

The frustrations nearly every weekend on the pitch really pale into the shadow when you think about just how many people EITC have helped.

..whilst it has been a long-term commitment, Denise Barrett-Baxendale deserves praise for organising it so effectively.

Exactly mate.
Our "loveable" neighbours may get their love - in , from the cronies on Sky and MOTD , but cannot hold a candle to us in the moral stakes.
Sometimes our club makes me ever so proud !.

I noticed in the segment that the presenter mentioned the ‘football CLUBS’ of the city giving something back to their community. What do Liverpool do? They’ve decimated the Anfield area.

I have mentioned the goodison sleepout before to my class when we were discussing homelessness and money so if this is suitable I’m going to show it to them.

..football is so much more than 90mins on a pitch and nowhere is that epitomised more than by EiTC.
