ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

What makes it worse is that we haven't had one day in the sun since 95, not even one that you could gloat about, not a slither. Yet they get one most seasons. Sickening.

can anybody recall watching a game of footy and enjoying it, seems so long ago
I honestly hate football now . The only thing that keeps me slightly interested is the fact I've been a season ticket holder for 20 years and been going the game about 25 years .

Haven't watched match of the day all season And probably watched less than 10 non Everton games all season

If it weren't for Everton and enjoying a bet I would honestly stop watching altogether .

This means there's going to be another play, some books, perhaps a dvd and some commemorative crockery...

Dave Kirbys pen is twitching, he's already booked the Royal Court Theatre and "Drew" Scofield is tugging Mickey "Sinbad" Starkey off in the wings in preparation for the great wankfest that is about to be composed.
Brian Reades got some witty names formulating in his noggin for a bestseller (in reality he's listening to the ole fellas in "Ye Cracke" and stealing there ideas).
Aldo's got his Marr's old home movie camera out the attic (plus her girdle and tights) and is interviewing super sub david fairclough outside his cardboard box behind the main stand for this summers box office blockbuster.
And the Franklyn Mint are fleecing mentally feeble 40 year old virgins for a months dole to supply them with a paper plate with Lucas's Grid crudely printed on. In the meantime TJ Hughes are eagerly stockpiling bedsheets and red markers for there mums as the sad bastards will be up for the next 5 nights making banners in preparation for the next home game, Its all gravy now boys, all graaaavvvyyyyyy.......

To be fair what a comeback that was. We need a manager of the calibre of Klopp. Thats an average Liverpool team and how he's managed to achieve a win like that is something we are sorely missing.

You could have John Carver managing them with a midfield of Cattermole and Rodwell and they'd still go to the Nou Camp and have off Barca. No matter the players no matter the manager the outcome is always the same.

Its true. They just do it no matter how crap they are.

I dont care what they win...when they win it or any other hyped paraphernalia related to their success...and whatever the duration of the success. Its not a new thing...Ive always felt that even when we were doing nothing in the 70s when they were winning all hands. I just hated them all the more and their longstanding RS spawn of the devil ways. Comparisons are odious they say ...and they certainly merit the odious tag. They did very well to come back and win tonight of course, and it was always on the cards especially given the rancid way Dortmund defended in the 2nd half. But Id never turn it round to an "arent we garbage" thing...too long in the tooth for that. Stuff them....."Whats our Name ?"
