Tbf didn't S'ton pay 12m for him, can understand them not wanting to make a loss on him as doubt they were actively trying to get rid of him in this window. Jay Rodriguez expected to be out until Feb with an ankle injury whilst still trying to get back to full fitness from his long layoff anyhow.
