They'll land on their feet, they always do.

Even if they don't sign a striker, some random youth player will bang 20 in out of nowhere anyway.

They may, at a push, sign Falco who sang Amadeus in the 80's. Probably this is where the mix up has occurred linking them with Falcao.
They are actually looking at a special guest for the xmas party and Brendan Rodgers bought the original on vinyl from Woolworths.
 
Yesterday it was Falco, today it's Cavani, previously there's been Sanchez and Balotelli. All top names but all players at a level above them, the only way they'll end up with another top striker is if they hit lucky again with a young rising player who sees them as a stepping stone.

Rodgers hasn't got the pull or contacts as a manager to attract the best that's why they've been shopping at the level of the likes of Lambert, Borini and Allen to name a few since he went there.

This 100%.

They cant attract the big guns already established. That's just where they are as a club. They are second tier European wise...and barely first tier in the PL.
