ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

My Aunty is in a full on discussion with me underneath my Facebook status (posted below) about the incidents outside Anfield at the weekend:

"Disturbing pictures and reports emerging of events outside the Anfield Road End yesterday. The Chelsea fans must've attacked themselves."

We've somehow come full circle to her bringing up Hillsborough, as I'm referencing a stereotype of Liverpool fans denying responsibility for things. This is despite me making it explicitly clear in the ensuing discussion that this stereotype has strongly emerged since the Suarez incidents and is nothing to do with Hillsborough.

It's ludicrous. Give me strength!

The 30 comments underneath my status only support this stereotype of being argument tossers and not just taking it on the chin when their fans do stupid things!

I posted a status about Collymore receiving abuse on Twitter a few months back that was seized on by one bell whiff in particular. He accused me of using the term "victimpool" and mocking Hillsborough in a comment below it which I hadn't, it clearly said liverpool.

However, I had edited the comment for some reason. He accused me of editing it after he had called me on it. I hadn't it was done hours before he commented. But I must have as it was seeing that term that outraged him.

He called me everything but what pissed me off the most was him questioning my integrity and calling me a liar in what is basically public. We had a massive argument and me being polite, if condescending, and him ranting like a loon. Even other Liverpool fans came to my defence.

I was extremely pissed off so looked into how I could prove the unedited comment didn't say victimpool. A quick look on google revealed that if you click on the word "edited" below the comment it shows the trail. I pointed out and said I would leave the thread on my page for two days so he could give me an apology as I wasn't comfortable with having what he'd wrote on my wall. Do you think I got one?
