Ronaldo's maintained this level of scoring record for years, Suarez has done it for a few months. People are far too reactionary to the present and don't look at things in context.

Good point Domingo. Iniesta is still everyone's favourite player but his form has dropped, but he's still magical.

Should also be said that Suarez is the top goalscorer in the WC qualifiers (possibly), and the SA qualifiers are regarded to be the most difficult.

Suarez is made for the modern game, he's got the skill and the build a top top top top player top. Currently Suarez deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Messi and Cristiano. Liverpool player or not he's world class.

As pointed out, Messi and Ronaldo are operating on a different level to everyone else. Suarez is world class imo but he's in that group that includes the likes of Van Persie, Falcao, Cavani etc. Each of them have had pockets or even seasons of form so sublime people put them up there with Messi and Ronaldo but they don't keep doing it season after season after season.
If Suarez keeps it up this season and the next 2 while consistantly making the difference in the big games then we can start to talk about him in the same light as Messi and Ronaldo.

On current form, Suarez is at least equal to Ronaldo. I find it impossible to believe people can contest that claim.

He's won the Copa America and scored a billion goals against Norwich. Don't think anyone actually said he's better than Ronaldo.
