Wow, just watch the RS game on itv+1, sewerats goal they played the replay and the commentator, 'now that... is the work of a cheat'. Not only that but he follows it up with something like 'accidents always seem to follow this fellow'.
Bullets in the post for you sunshine, don't go sending the kids to school alone tomorrow.

Damning.

I thought Sturridge was bog-standard today. Not even biased when saying that; he scored early but other than that he was what I expected; wasteful.

Need to bring in a striker because Suarez misses a few too many chances, so they bring in Sturridge ... who misses a few too many chances.

Can someone explain to me how some papers have turned this around to blaming solely the ref and linesmen?!

A lot are saying that Suarez isn't guilty and did what all players would do and played to the whistle. And it's the officials fault for not penalising. And that no professional would have owned up to handballing it.

Well here's a thought...

DON'T CHEAT IN THE FIRST PLACE

I know, one of my kopite mates is spouting those lines at the moment, that and everyone else is doing it so he's not the only one and he's being victimised because of who he is. Nearly used "okay mate x" in your honour!

Rogers and the so-called experts/pundits blaming the officials are deluded. It's like saying any criminal is not at fault - it's up to the police to catch them or prove their guilt via evidence they acquire.

The point made above is spot on: don't cheat in the first place. Same as with criminals - don't commit an offence in the first place.

That way, the onus wouldn't be on the authorities to try and rid ill-doing from their sphere.

I don;t for one moment think it was intended, and I think he was genuinely surprised it was allowed. But he could have had the humility to hold his hand up - pun intended - and told the ref. If the officials insisted it be allowed to stand, then they could have decided to let Mansfield walk the ball in straight from the off.

Hasn't there been a precedent set in this competition ? Arsenal v Sheff Wed ? wasn't it cos they didnt give the ball back after it was put out, and they decided to score instead ?

Suarez is a victim of the british media, He has never cheated and all of this criticism is unfounded
