ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

When Kapil got to "I've never stepped foot in England" I knew where this was going... FFS!!

They really are an in-breed apart aren't they?

I think Liverpool should be genuinely concerned that they've had a few managers pull themselves out of the running, even one or two, that to our knowledge, haven't been offered the job yet.

Do these managers see something from an unbiased viewpoint that their supporters don't? If so, what is it?

Lack of fan support/history of "support"?
Lack of quality at the club in terms of players on the roster and changes that will have to be made?
Lack of financial support?

Add any number of concerns that I've missed.

If I'm a Liverpool supporter, I'd really have some concerns here. That said, I think they'll end up with a name manager like Boas-Villas.

“I would have no problem with him getting the job.â€￾

Well I would. Koff Nichol.

Savage was at it again this evening on the radio touting Moyes for the Libpool job. " He deserves a chance at a big club" he said. Shut it you flash melt.

Maybe they just realise that the job is possibly even more of a poisoned chalice than the Newcastle job a few years back. If they don't get this one right I think they could be looking at years in the wilderness. Which would be ace.

It looks like Nicol was responding to a direct question regarding Moyes. In which case, it's the answer I would expect him to give.

As for Savage - Moyes is the manager (I suppose) who wouldn't sign him, so there could be some 'history' there.

If Savage is a 'Blue' then maybe he is one of the 'Moyes Out' brigade. ;)

As for the 'trial at OT' story - is there any real substance to it?

The only reason managers are pulling themselves out of the race is because they are not Rafael. That manager thread on RANK is wrong, all answers, from all fans, want that fat spanish waiter; any manager will be hounded out of that club.

And hats off to SOS, sending a letter to your ownwers demanding answers hahahaha YOU BEAUTS

Going from Europa to CL cost's a lot of money in this league. Most managers know they haven't really got it and there isn't much value in that schwad(as Rafael calls it) to raise it from player sales. They also know that despite his mediocre performance KKK is big boots to fill in the eyes of a set of fans who are redefining delusion. The hodgson treatment will have put a few off too.

They need an up and comer with an eye for a player. They also need to give him a chance. If they don't they won't get anywhere near us next season.
