ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

this whole Rafael debacle reminds me of the film Gladiator. You have FSG who are like Commodus (the new Caesar) and Rafael who is our maximus. Thrown out of the club and left in the wilderness where he has become a wild beast.

The baying mob of rome (some of us fans) are cheering for maximus' return and finally when Maximus (Rafael) and commodus (FSG) meet, commodus will say "What am I going to do with you, you simply won't...die"

And then Maximus will pull out his two figurines (not his son and wife) but in this case it is his European cup and FA cup which is all he has to remember us by and put them on the table and slay commodus and we will all cheer and rejoice.
Whoever wrote this must have got tired of play-dough that morning.

Thanks Kenny. Thanks for everything. I have not even set foot in england. I have not even set foot outside India. You cannot imagine how much you mean to me. When I learned about you and saw what you mean to the city of liverpool before you were appointed for the second time, I really connected to you.
You made me to look forward to everyday, every night, apart from my boring work. I see your first game, first home game after you touch the anfield sign, your montage video, your first interview in the second coming, and what not, whenever I am down, whenever we drew or lost last season, cos when I saw you, I knew for sure, it will just take a pre season to turn things around. I know for the very fact that YOU WERE HERE, right there. So, I was upset like the other people when things didn't go in the expected way. When my fellow reds here started losing faith and started seeing Champions league as their goal, I used to show them the 87-88 season of how football should be played and won. Now, they have won, I feel cheated. While people are talking up martinez and Rafael and ABC, Kenny, I am angry on you for influencing my life this much. I don't feel like doing anything at work, stopped talking to people. Its worse than a breakup with your childhood girl.
I am going to miss you Kenny.
Its amazing how a man, millions of miles away can influence a guy, from a small part from the Indian Sub-continent.
I am going to miss your celebrations. I am pissed that my dreams of you delivering the league in a couple of years time, is taken away and murdered. I am angry that you will not be able to deliver the European cup which you should have when you were managing the first time.
I am going to miss your pressers.
I am going to miss you having a joke with our youngsters before they get inside the field.
I am going to miss your wit.
I am going to miss the players smile when they train.
I am going to miss seeing you kick the ball in the training.
I am going to miss the kop singing happy birthday for you.
I am going to miss the dalglish chant.

Long live King.

Come back soon.

.......

When I was a kid watching tv and Kenny was talking after the game I used to tell my family to be quiet so I could listen to what he was saying hoping that some of his magic would rub off on me. I was gutted when he left.

I was delighted when he came back. It was great to see him on the touchline. It felt right.

I am gutted again.

But, the thing that gets to me is that he has been insulted. The man who replaced a legend to become a bigger legend both as a player and then as a manager and who gave so much of himself in our darkest hour has been treated like any other person. He is not any other person. He is Kenny Dalglish.

**** you you yankee doodle dandy ignorant [Poor language removed]. ****ing disgraceful.

.....

Can you imagine if The Glwadys Street sung happy birthday to Moyes during a match, i'd be disgusted
