Me too mate. I dig on here but it's a second home to me. I have to stick up for the city a fair bit down here. People hear Liverpool and just immediately think it's a **** hole.

Couldn't be further from the truth imo. Obviously there's parts but what city doesn't have those parts. One of the nicest city centres I've ever been to and I love the people. Even the local arl fellas are decent enough to talk to you.

Only critism I would ever have over Liverpool is the seperatist attitude from some it's people. Thatcher was a long time ago. And that goes for some of my friends and family members too. The hate for anyone not from Liverpool is a bit weirdo sometimes. But then again I suppose it happens in reverse aswell.

Basically, I'm proud to be a cockney sound a like southern beaut with a huge affiliation with Liverpool.

I have to disagree mate and I dont know if the above is your genuine point of view or its a case of you not wanting to think they are in a struggle incase it bites you on the backside in 12 months or so

They have an average squad mate take a look though it and tell me who would get into a top 4 side, I would say Suarez and at a push Skertal, Gerrard is past his best my a long way, Reina has been poor for 2 seasons the rest would struggle to get into the Everton/Newcastle sides

They need a major rebuild to challenge the top 4 nevermind a title challenge, In my opinion they need a center back,2 center mids,Wingers on both flanks and a world class striker to get the all important 20-25 goals a season,Whilst they are hunting around for these Spurs,Arsenal,Chelsea,Utd,City will be all strenthening the squads who are already ahead of the RS in terms of quality

FSG will not bank roll a massive spending spree,There will be no cheque for 100m for the next manager and that is why they are looking for coaches who can work on a budget and get the best out of whats there

That said I aspect them to win the league next season

I agree with everything you say mate, but its Liverpool, whatever goes on, whatever happens, they still end up being good. I mean hand on heart, do u see us finishin above them again next season?

I will give you an honest answer in Aug mate when the transfer window has closed

I agree though there will always be someone to buy them out and inject money and yes be it next year or 5 years they will challenge again

BUT the longer they stay outside the top 4 (3 years and counting) the harder it will be as the top players insist on CL football and without the money they can not afford the fee/wages anyway
