RAWK

i still cant get over the disgraceful way Dalglish was treated for having the gaul and right to stick up for what he believed in with Suarez. He was treated disgracefully by all quarters, hammered by press, opposition and our own.

The thing is, the author genuinely believes what he's/ she's/ its just written - KKK didn't defend the racist because he thought his team would do marginally less awfully but because he subscribed to some high, noble ethic, beyond the comprehension of mere mortals.

More RAWK classics

  • our owners are keen on statistics. stats will show that liverpool made a huge leap forward in the clear cut chances created per game compared to the last 5 seasons. this is all down to kenny's tactics so he was successful imo.
  • Once more, I don't trust the owners. The club appears to have stalled, the wrong people were placed in positions they weren't qualified for, and Kenny was left to do more than just manage the football side of things, particularly during the Suarez incident and aftermath, but that is not the only time.
  • The owners need to improve. We need to know what is going on with the stadium and they need to realise that Football is totally different to Baseball.
  • Not convinced they can afford to run a club like Liverpool. When I say afford - yes they can afford to keep it ticking but tick it will. To move forward in football the owners need to spend serious money.
  • I don't think we're that far off from attaining Champions League Football given the injury to Lucas (lack of cover) and the infinite times we hit the crossbar this year.

Hahahahhahaha

WTF was that LSD sh1t all about. Honestly they think it's all Moneyball but unfortunately for them football is not a choreographed game (like say Baseball with the routine being similar all the time, or American Football with players going on routs). So, the simple truth is you look for a good (or great) footballer to fill a gap in your team. Let's take Everton's transfer dealings in the past season:

Out: Saha, Billy, Yak & Beckford - point 1 we needed money (to buy). Point 2 we sold (or removed from the payroll if free transfer) players who "did not buy into the manager's philosophy / work ethic". Additionally the manager deemed Mikel Arteta to be dispensable - since we clearly needed money - and Yobo was removed from the payroll - another player who clearly had long since failed to buy in to the work ethic.

So, let's look at what the £20M or so got for us:

Loan signings: Drenthe, Stracquilarsi - Royston was in limbo so we got a player who was "available" and sort of creative. Denis was a stop gap last minute deal.

January: Donovan, Pienaar - on loan but both were known quantities to the manager - so all he did was be smart - get players you know will buy into the Everton Way.

Gibson & Jelavic: A known quantity (surplus to requirements at Utd - again something the manager has done before - with success) plus a proven scorer we were fortunate to pick up - on the cheap - from a club desperate to get some money in. Now that's just smart business. So is protesting you don't want to sell someone until the price is right (Lescott) however you really feel about it. The difference is that, whilst Moyes is not infallible, he certainly has the better emotional intelligence.

More hilarity from the Cretinathon known as RAWK:

"The new boss should have any 1 of the following

1. CL winners medal and a sexy little goatee beard
2. 3 SPL league titles and 4 cups, a lovely northern irish accent and a current contract with a beachball loving club
3. A point to prove against Chelsea after the 11/12 season

Pity that the only man on the planet who should be in the hotseat flew to Spain last night after being treated like last weeks newspaper...

Note to FSG, When you claim to want to restore something to its former glory you dont rip out its heart and soul........never trust a Yank"

It was LIVERPOOL fans who threw the beachball on the pitch.

This from a club who are anti-racism?

Still on RAWK there is the 'Suarez is innocent' mantra. It's like if they say it often enough it becomes true. I reckon we should all say 'Everton - EPL Champions 2011-12' over and over again. :D

STOP PRESS: SOMEONE ON RAWK WITH A BRAIN ALERT!:

The next manager should be "Someone who realises the The Liverpool Way is just a myth, and YNWA just a song with a pretty tune."

Seriously - someone just said that.
