RAWK

The owners need to believe in Kenny and back that belief with money. The only conversation they should be having with Kenny is apologising that they can only give him £40m this summer. Their next conversation should be at the end of the year when they write another check for the next transfer window.

I like supporting Liverpool with Kenny in charge...having a legend like that as manager is brilliant, love it. Of course FSG won't have that same feeling!

i still cant get over the disgraceful way Dalglish was treated for having the gaul and right to stick up for what he believed in with Suarez. He was treated disgracefully by all quarters, hammered by press, opposition and our own.

Things I hope Kenny says while he’s over there;

‘Who appointed Comolli?, yep I’m looking at you two’

‘Got anywhere with the new stadium yet?’

‘Now you get on with your job and I’ll get on with mine.’

Clarke is assistant though so he is surely doing more than just defensive work. Whoever whom Dalglish was relying on - he needs to be improved on. What the club needs is a canny assistant like Pako Ayestaran ...

That's just superb from start to finish. We need thousands like that to cement the jester in as manager for the next few seasons. People who'll post the bullets and wear the suicide vests if Kenny is ousted.

I reckon the Yanks are gonna sell up.

New Balance set up a company,& take over the R/S who's kit deal is about to expire.

R/S sign 'record' kit deal with New Balance owned company.

New Balance have snatched one of the biggest global kits from Adidas.

Now that New Balance have control over the cash cow that is the r/s kit they stand to make a mint every year, no need to run a football club where you have to invest in players, stadiums etc all at great cost with a chance of nothing back.
With a fan base that will turn on you in an instant and some of the goings on this season they will be thinking Is it worth the hassle now that they have the biggest earner in the kit.
That kit deal will be laden with clauses as well, they won't be getting as much next season for starters as no CL which is bound to be a clause.

The kopites think that the yanks have got round the FFP but they have in effect worked one of the greatest scams ever.

Now THAT would get the marching season off to a flyer, although I expect KK to be told "sell to Buy" then when they have the cash back that they gave him last year they'll do one. He'll feel like Ally McCoist by the end of the summer.

Was flicking thru channels earlier and came across LFC Tv . Doing a Top 10 or something. Heard , or it sounded like, a fan outside Swansea's ground saying they'd won " One and a half ".....I assume he was referring to the cups

  • our owners are keen on statistics. stats will show that liverpool made a huge leap forward in the clear cut chances created per game compared to the last 5 seasons. this is all down to kenny's tactics so he was successful imo.
  • Once more, I don't trust the owners. The club appears to have stalled, the wrong people were placed in positions they weren't qualified for, and Kenny was left to do more than just manage the football side of things, particularly during the Suarez incident and aftermath, but that is not the only time.
  • The owners need to improve. We need to know what is going on with the stadium and they need to realise that Football is totally different to Baseball.
  • Not convinced they can afford to run a club like Liverpool. When I say afford - yes they can afford to keep it ticking but tick it will. To move forward in football the owners need to spend serious money.
  • I don't think we're that far off from attaining Champions League Football given the injury to Lucas (lack of cover) and the infinite times we hit the crossbar this year.

Kenny brought this Kop end goal to Boston this morning as part of his supporting evidence.

When did Lucas become a world class midfielder?

He's had one alright season, and now he is the missing link, because of a injury. He was hated by them [Poor language removed]'s until last season.
