ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They would have been 7 behind City without that airlift from the ref. 9 behind Arsenal. Going into the derby knowing any dropped points at all might well have been curtains for their league challenge.

Just an absolute corrupt bent league but then we all knew that anyway. They’ll get given any advantage possible to ensure they’re up there so their billion worldwide fans keep buying tv packages to watch them.

Yes. All true.

But can anyone really see that lot winning any title this season?

City will romp this league and there'll be plenty of times this season we'll be pissing ourselves laughing at them getting beat....that will happen A LOT.

The Establishment Klub's media are pushing hard now that Newcastle were beaten by their own delaying tactics in the match and that it came back to bite them in the end.

They'll ALWAYS be backed to the hilt.
Delaying tactics often have a way of biting you on the jacksy, last season we were the beneficiaries on a couple of occasions at home when the opposition delayed at every given chance when pickford was at it yesterday I was hoping the karma would stay away thankfully it did, there's added time on added time just like united and ferguson were the darlings of the league now its klopp and them be as well going back to school yard rules next goal the winner as long as its not the opposition

Thing is that they are still at least in the top four or five in the league in terms of quality.

Add to the fact that they never get bookings and routinely get treatment like this from refs and they will easily get into the top 4.

They can take their dodgy win tonight. Because that lot are well off it this season.

City will win this league by about 15 points.

Top 4 is nothing for an elite team. It's failure. The title is the only game in town...and Liverpool wont get near it.

City are an injury to De Bruyne Dias or
Haaland away from dropping points seeing as they seem to be conceding goals this season.

You don’t know what can happen over 38 games which is why every point is crucial. Momentum can be the difference between that lot sweating over a top 4 battle or being in a title race. We saw last season how far they were out of it until the PL deceived they needed a title race and just started shafting City and bending over for Liverpool and before you knew it an 8 point advantage was down to a final day decider.

They should be almost dead and buried already and instead they’ve had a massive shot in the arm probably more effective than the artificial ones they’re already giving their players.

Is it really that much to ask for them just to have a bit of a rocky period without them getting bailed out by some stupid miracle or bent refereeing every time they need it

There is no way that the top 6, will not be the 6 that have automatic entry into the European competitions. Otherwise questions may be asked about fairness particularly if the other BBC darling club Newcastle are up there. But the Prem./TV money can't have LFC struggling and not being involved in a title challenge. VAR and refs. know the score and don't want any scrutiny from the RS dominated media about their decisions. The easiest way to counter adverse scrutiny is to give them every thing. During added, added extra time they got every free kick going to make sure Newcastle were on the back foot. These type of things will continue to happen this season as the RS 'doing well' means more money for the TV lot and therefore for the Prem., the same applies to Europe as well.

Nah. Newcastle had their two best players out and should have taken points at Anfield.

They'll be beaten regularly on the road.

This title wont be close. Not a bit of it.
The rats will have that tipp exed from their script that the geordies had injuries they will have it etched in their little pea brains before their head hits the pillow, by the cult of rawk telling them it's only them that have injuries worst injuries than any team more than anyone anywhere anytime ever, and that geordies had their best 11, and their squad was literally on its knees playing a makeshift 11 who ran through walls for the cause while playing through the pain barrier
