ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3


My personal hell from 2005: I was out for the evening 200 miles from Liverpool and, at half-time I ventured to check the score on the radio (and call my Dad who was, shall we say, ecstatic) - the rest you know.. and then in 2019 I was also away in the Midlands and at 5 minutes I wandered into the bar of the hotel and saw that they had been donated a penalty and, intermittently catching up with the score and, of course, it didn't improve. I did however watch their other losses (to AC Milan, Real Madrid and Sevilla) - So, I am booking my front row seat this time round to make sure I put the kibosh on them.

They are a freak show, don't even draw games,its just win win win, even at 2 down at HT in a euro semi final away game. Little or no hope of them not winning the quadruple now.
 


Bumped into a former colleague, who is a red, at the bus stop, yesterday. The mate who I was with (Spurs) mentioned that the football was on, I know it was coming and he turned to me and said 'Good season for you', I am not sure my response pleased him, he already had his mask on (Still mandatory on buses, here in Germany) so it as hard to tell. My response was simply 'Barrow have survived so all is good with them but with Everton, what will be, will be. I will still wake up the same person so whatever happens, we will see'.' I could sense disappointment that I did not rise to the bait.

At the end of the day, if you are worried about dealing with gloating kopites, it is very easy not to get wound up as it is only a game. It is what it is, be honest and agree with them that we have been crap and they have been very good, yes we know that they have had the rub of the green on some occasions but don't get into their game. They don't know how to deal with other fans being humble and honestly talking about the game and the club they support and especially not fans who don't take their support as seriously as they do.
 
It’s still rather amusing that the cl is the competition that the scab 6 and their slimy foreign mates wanted to kill, along with their domestic leagues, but now as the mighty peds are in the final and second in the league, they are both amazing competitions.

The cl is a plassy competition for plassy fans, and the premier league and the other domestic leagues are irrevocably damaged because of their actions.

Football died when these scumbags tried to form the ESL, but their plassy glory hunting gobshite fans can’t even admit it.
