Very possible.

The title was a distant ambition for them as soon as they dropped points at Spurs then the likely cramming of games two per week until the end of the season has come into view and - as Klopp conceded - they dont have the squad to compete.

It's over. I expect Leicester and Chelsea to take 4 out of Liverpool's next available 6 points and that'll sow it up.

City will get 90+ points, Liverpool will be lucky to get into the 80s.
 

See the afcon cryarses got they're wish and are allowed to release players later now - basically held the competition to ransom and have got away with it. Total disrespect.

This is why the scab 6 and the euro super League will never go away - they think they can do whatever they want and they usually get it as the authorities and competitions roll over for them.

That decision was because they'd already granted Salah permission to stay on for the Chelsea game, so now they all stay on for another week.

Still makes it 3rd Jan - 6th Feb. I'd imagine Egypt and Senegal to make the QFs at least. So that means 29th / 30th January and Salah and Mane out for 2 PL games.

Tbh, it's not needed now. Liverpool have been broken. They cant compete with a juggernaut like City.

I can see that too.

No way he's agreeing to a new £300k pw deal that will still leave him miles off some of the PL best paid players.

If Madrid or PSG hand him £500k pw he's off like a shot.

A final pay day like that and his extended family is golden let alone close family. He can make a huge positive impact with that money back in Egypt and live the rest of his days beloved in his home lands. He'd be mad not to.

Hope you're right on all that mate, and only fair if they all can go late after cryarse got Salah to stay.

The general disrespect they all show really annoys me.

Doesn't matter the comps scheduled In the middle of the season, it's been that way for years - if youre so bothered about it then don't sign African players then, simple solution.

I can understand that but when a player gets a chance with a bigger club and they have no lifelong allegiance to their current club, it is what it is - no point to get mad.

Would be nice to see him get a non-asterisk title at City and I'd love to see him up against St Virgil of the blessed knee just for burning the gears of the media trying to work out what to say about it.
