ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

As said yesterday:

That result suits me down to the ground.

I'm pretty sure Klopp was kicking the cat when he got back home last night.

The semi will get reduced to one game and it’s only Arsenal who will no doubt kick the ball in their own net trying to play out from the back against them. Spurs or Chelsea would have been a more gruelling semi final. I’d have much rather had a check against their momentum and a home loss to inflict some misery on their fans for once but every week at the moment is acting as another shot in the arm. They should be about 8 points off the pace and out of the league cup now but it’s last minute winners every time they need one and it all just keeps the circus going.

Nah, I think the integrity of the LC SFs will be kept: 2 legs a week apart...probably to reduced capacity crowds.

They'll have to play all their better players too. Their supporters will demand that in a couple of SF games (and the final if they get through). Chelsea will be a grudge as it always is if the get to the final and they'll lose that final too.

Not arsed if they win it, tbh. Prefer they didn;t like. But they are in for 3 more games using their best players if things go to plan.

They need those extra games against tough opponents like they need a key player injury. Their squad (as Klopp conceded) is too lightweight to cope. The ramifications will be felt a month or so later in the PL and CL.

Now that was a potential leg breaking tackle, an horrendous challenge. Klopp's touchline antics during the Spurs game, and the hullabaloo over Robertson's sending off and Kane not being, and the ref not liking him, had one purpose to intimidate refs so as not to book lfc players when they should and certainly not send them off. It's more than the refs jobs worth to have sent off Morton last night, he would have been harangued by Klopp and their players, hounded all over the internet, in TV studios, on the radio and probably in his own environment.

It worked, just like it always does.

The Media Six are just using this to get five sub rule. Disgusting
The fact they (scab 6) weren't punished for the attempted ESL coup has just made them stronger and the football authorities weaker - now they can push any agenda they see fit for their needs knowing full well the authorities will relent to them.
The terrified media (Sky/Bt) will spin it to in their favour - in case when ESL v2 appears shortly they won't be frozen out this time.
And as for the other 14 teams (us included) who just let it happen and backed down on punishment are as just as culpable as well.
What a sorry state football 2021 has become.

That’s the worst part. The other 14 were so greedy that they chose an existence of being complete has beens but having their pockets full to one where they had an opportunity to have real competition. They were all so terrified of the tv money going that they accepted the scab 6 back with open arms. The 14 should have told them to do one and that they were no longer welcome in the premier league.

Good to see Carragher and Neville still mentioning it though after making a big deal about how they would not let this go away. Oh no wait they haven’t mentioned it once since.

i mean i'm all for anything that makes them fume but letting leeds off this game is ridiculous, they should have to play their u23s

seems a radical change from a few days ago:
