ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Right... y'all know how much I hate him, you know this, but when I saw that first clip I actually thought he meant it as 'yeah, we've got all this going on.... and then the 'small matter' of AFCON - i.e that is another significant event we've got to deal with'

OK, its badly worded and needs an inflection to land well, but I actually don't think he meant that as, its a 'little' tournament - that's just my take, and really its whiny moaning Klopp getting himself into grief by whining and moaning again.
But.... he then completely shoots himself in the foot by turning on an African journalist, raising that concern, and cutting him off in a really arrogant way. A decent person would've responded with - 'I'm really sorry, that's not what I meant at all, no its a massive competition and has a big drain on the team and our domestic challenges. Perhaps its my English but I meant ' and we've got this, not little competition at all, in the middle of the season' but, yes my apologies, I can see why people could hear it that way.' Summat like that.

But because he's a bad angry weirdo kopite he can't appreciate someone else's perspective or be humble enough to admit fault.
So I genuinely don't think it shows he's a terrible racist, just a terrible human.
Exactly how I read it.

It makes me bring a bit of sick up in my mouth to say it but I can see what Klopp was getting at.

Theres bound to be misinterpretations with language differences of course. But Klopp has a hair trigger angry reaction that does him no favours and antagonises then spouts irrational gobbledegook in his attempts to extricate or explain himself. Hes a nark rubbing people up the wrong way very easily managers, journalists and anyone else who even slightly questions him, then dismisses the spats as nothing.

You are right. He may not have expressed himself particularly well ( although he always plays the language card when he is being challenged about something dodgy he has said) but like the classless specimen that he is, he can't offer a genuine apology. Instead he turns on the journalist and makes out he is the victim. He's a perfect fit for the club he manages.

It's learned behaviour, when.he first arrived over here it was annoyingly difficult not to erm 'tolerate' him, given, and despite, his connection to the banjo pluckers.
But jeez, in time he has become the epitome of entitled, arrogant, egotistical, frothing at the mouth, know nothing bellend that supports that shower of sheet.

His defence is unreal. Journalist has tried to take him to task for the remarks and demand an apology to both Africa and also the tournament.
Klopp of course, responded with good grace and humility, for which he has become known.
Oh hang on...

When moyes was man u manager he made a laughing remark to a journalist about a tough question " do you want a slap" he was slaughtered for months and had to read out an apology, this rat is pushing the buttons of his racist core and hes getting away with it, we lose are best players remark pffft he might as well of said some of my best friends are African.
