ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It's not that they have a fit team , the point I'm making is the players fitness doesn't go up a level it goes up to levels never seen before and when they move on the fitness levels drop alarmingly, this is a club that has no morals when comes to getting the upper hand .
Wasnt it sakho under klopp demanded an apology because he was labelled a drug cheat , he may have been cheating now but at the time the drug wasn't on the list of banned substances so they should apologise for not being ahead of the drug cheats at liverpool, like I said laughable.
They are a fit team, they are a fit team because of the way the play, high press high tempo, j don't think theirs anything abnormal about that.

What players have moved on and fitness levels have dropped alarmingly?

You think they drug cheat, yet nothing has ever come out about it, not one leak from the probably hundreds of people who would have to know they are cheating.

Sakho was using his birds diet pills or something wasn't he? So he was hardly snorting rush before a game to give himself them extra 5 yards

Townsend is playing well for us but even in this form it’s clear to see he’s lost the pace he once had at Spurs. He’s still decent but he’s shown he’s been at this level before in his career and probably just dipped under that dinosaur Hodgson for so long. Some of those Liverpool players went from nowhere to the best in the world over night despite never showing it anywhere else before.
Townsend’s form didn’t dip under Hodgson. He was made to play a much more defensive role for the team. Not his natural game but credit to a good pro who just got on with it for the team. Hodgson kept an ageing team up doing that for 4 seasons running. Not entertaining but effective. Pleased to see Townsend’s natural attacking game in use again.

I dont think they are the only ones if there was something dodgy going on look at the likes of 34 year old Fernadinho over the years at City then you had Pep's Barca team who pressed none stop week in week out.

Then again Townsend is playing for us like he's 21 at the moment maybe he has some of that magical elixir lol

It was like us under Moyes, we always looked like we could go another 90 mins after just playing a game.

Haven't seen goal of the century yet, but have heard lots on the radio about the manner of the effort.
What I'm intrigued about is will Danny Murphy be dissecting the performance of the City defence in allowing the goal to be scored, in the same manner that he berated the Utd defence for letting Townsend in on Saturday.
I'm thinking it'll be all about the brilliance of Salah this time round.

It was similar to his Puskas greatest goal of all time against us without the blatant foul when he pushed Martina over with both his hands. That was the same game when the sport had a national inquest because we got a penalty at Anfield.

One was from City centre, and one was from Ireland, but they reckon they weren’t football fans?.

I mean, it's a forum, so people make comments. We are a point behind, having had a harder start and more away games, but I can say we are bit in the hunt, but that would be ludicrous. Even after 7 games you can say that.

I felt Liverpool had an outside chance at the start of the season, but they needed to start well and get points ahead. They had a great chance with 2 home games against rivals, which have been blown.

When the mid season blip comes, aided by the AFCON, I sense we see a repeat of last season (perhaps less dramatically). Only a matter of time until Matip gets injured, and I have to say, Gomez has looked woeful for them thus far. He has gone backwards.

I see them competing with United for 3rd. United have a much better team/squad, especially when Maguire returns, but we all know OGS is an Achilles heel. If they get a proper manager in, they will be very competitive.

City will improve through the season as they tend too, and as Chelsea gain more familiarity they will get stronger too. Everyone can see they are the top 2 teams, by some distance.
Utd should have sacked OGS yesterday. He will cost them any title race and possible top 4
