ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I always thought VAR was going to be horse poo, and I’ve hated it’s implementation so far.

It can be pointed at that there’s have been a dozen or so decisions where “the right call will have been made” but there’s been at least as many that I’ve either felt were 50/50, disagreed with, or - in the case of these mm offsides - don’t trust.

It’s here because twitter virgins can’t accept that there’s a potential that a wrong devious can be made, and can’t accept that if such a decision is made it can be allowed to stand.

We’ve all felt aggrieved at bad decisions against us, and we’ve all felt the joy, or embarrassment, or shame, or whatever of knowing one has gone for us.

Now, we all seem to have known a time when one of these bad VAR calls has gone for and against us, while also having been sat not having a clue what’s going on for eternity while a decision is being made, and had spontaneous joy removed from our lives to boot.

Get it in the bin.

The Watford v Villa pen where the player was shoved in the back when going through on goal.. pen given.
Exactly the same as DCL and Van Dyke but not given. Other teams are getting bad calls from VAR but Liverpool are by far getting more calls in their favour than anyone else.
I imagine when they have the league wrapped up they will suddenly start suffering bad VAR calls... when it no longer matters.

my heart felt congratulations to all the supporters who spent their hard earned cash (norwegien, maylaygien and not forgetting the south koreagiens and their girl friends) ... best supporters in the world lar..

Yeah once its boxed off they will even it up.
Thing is it not just what's going for Liverpool, City have lost points by it and I would be shocked if Leicester too have had points lost like everyone else.
It's why the cups are better this season.

They've lost one game in about 2 seasons, they're European and World Champions and about a billion miles ahead of every one else.
Against my better judgment, I watched their game last night at Leicester and that was the most complete performance any away side has produced in years.
I hate to say it, but they are the best side in the world at the moment. I've not seen a demolition job like they did in a big game since the United sides of the 90's.
There's no juiced up, there's no VAR favours, they are just way too good for everyone over a season, whether or not City beat them in a one off return game.
They spent next to nothing over the summer, while everyone else spent fortunes. Even with injuries, they still get the job done. There is no doubt that Klopp is the best manager in the world.
I hate acknowledging it, but they are just very good.
With City losing tonight, it's not if, but just when they win the title.

These blag accounts don't even try anymore do they:dodgy:

Someone best beat them, can't have them going unbeaten or beating Citys points record aswell, sadly I think both could be very achievable for them!

Now that the powers that be have messed up an epic PL title battle I think this will be the new narrative from Sky et al to generate some fake excitement - can't see any change in their "luck" second half of the season unless someone unexpectedly beats them.

The reality is VAR is a joke it has completely ruined the game, the Wolves lad scores celebrates then it gets disallowed for being a tiny bit offside. VAR won't change the levels of corruption in the premier league, we all know that if the RS had scored a goal in similar circumstances they would of been given it. I've become even more suspicious even more dodgy things are going on at Liverpool. As I've said on here before, there have been far better sides than Liverpool, both in the premier league and abroad and they were never winning the number of games Liverpool do.

To be fair the rs did have one similar from Firminho disallowed earlier in the season. There's no doubting they have been lucky this year though, I don't think I've seen them dominate a game, other than the Leicester away game.

It wasn't offside. I mean I get the mm thing and the if it is it is. But I look at that still that they say his toe was defo offside and it isn't. No matter how many times I look at it is behind or level. Defo goal for them btw, shoulder all day

Apart from the fact that it was offside everything else you have posted is spot on.
