ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The money is irrelevant, they have unlimited amounts anyway, whether he goes for nothing or for 50 mill they’ll still spend 100s of millions every window. Just have to hope they continue to waste it, and it’s extremely difficult to find a right winger who will score 20 goals every season in the PL and get double figure assists.

They are one of the only clubs that can get away with making the mistake of putting him on huge wages. Said it earlier in the week but it's a get out of jail card for them like it is with many of the top clubs. They probably still have plenty of PSR room despite their spend in the summer but him going for a huge fee means they can spend a few more hundred million to fix the problems.

Yes…. Fight

Mohamed Salah says he feels like he has been "thrown under the bus" by Liverpool and that his relationship with boss Arne Slot has broken down.

Salah was an unused substitute in Saturday's 3-3 draw at Leeds United - the third straight game the Egypt star has started on the bench.

After the game, the scorer of 250 goals in 420 Liverpool appearances said in an extraordinary interview with journalists: "I think it is very clear that somebody wants me to take all the blame.

"I've said a few times before that I have a good relationship with the manager and now all of a sudden we have no relationship. I don't know why.

"It seems like the club are throwing me under the bus – that's how I feel.

"This club, I will always support it. My kids will always support it. I love the club so much and I always will.

"It [the situation] is not acceptable to me, to be fair. I don't get it. It's like I'm being thrown more under the bus. I don't think I'm the problem. I have done so much for this club. I don't have to fight every day for my position because I earn it. I earned my position."

“After what I have done for the club it really hurts. You can imagine, really. After going from home to the club and you don’t know if you are starting. I know the club too well, I have been here many years. Tomorrow [Jamie] Carragher [former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports’ pundit ] is going to go for me again and again and that’s fine.

Hahaha nice dig at Mr Temper

The club have used Carragher to put the seeds out there to say it on a public platform. Salah big problem is, with the big money signings of Wirtz and Isak, he wasn’t the main man anymore. They’ve had to alter their style to fit them two into the system but he doesn’t work with Salah there. They’ve been too busy blaming the death of Jota without addressing the main issue of why they are under performing.

Kerkez
Isak
Wirtz
Frimpong

All been duds, can’t blame them for playing bad due to the death of Jota, they had no relationship with him. It’s about time someone comes out and says it.
