ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I know it's not the same but....

By all accounts they were actively trying to see jota for ffp reasons this summer.....

So barring the tragic events of his passing he'd have been gone anyway....

Funny how the last minute goals where because of jota, now the poor forms his fault....

Grow a pair, take some accountability, let the man rest and give his family some peace
The more they use Jota as the reason for their slump the longer they'll be in a slump, because playing well can imply they are over it.
Not a good mix and better off keeping their grief and form miles apart in the narrative. Tbf I've not heard Slot use it when he's telling other managers how to beat them

TBF I was a standup for years and still dabble. He is a funny lad.Not horses an all that but still a good Soul xxx
If you were, then all I can say is that a comedian has the toughest job of all. Been on with many comedians over the decades: Ken Dodd; Stan Boardman; Tom O'Connor; George Roper; Dustin Gee; Les Dennis; Joe Longthorne; Norman Collier (he was the best). Hardest job of all to get up on stage alone and entertain a crowd. One Xmas eve we were on the 'Ball o' Ditton' in Widnes with a comedian. When he was on, the crowd took no notice of him. He was decent, but he was just ignored, the crowd just chatting. We were in the changing room getting ready to go on after him, and to work out the song sequence. He just said to the crowd, in so many words: 'I'm off home back to my wife and kids for the night, you lot carry on', and he walked off stage. The concert sec pleaded with him to go back on in the changing room, but he basically told him to f off, and he wasn't interested in any fee. When a comedian dies on stage, he dies alone; a band dies together...

I’m guessing my comedic timing and delivery didn’t come across as well on a football forum…. But if you came to one of my shows, a man of your advanced years, I guarantee you’d pi55 yourself x
If you have a video clip, post it up so I can see, or send it to me by PM...

If you've got it, you've got it.
If you go searching for it, you'll never find it..

I understand that fella was @Kurt.

I also understand he's a world leading expert in tanks used in ww2 by the Russians and has written many books on the subject. But doesn't like to talk about it.
