Guarantee if McNeil had started a few games this season he'd be on 2 or 3 goals by now. Much as I love Moyes, everyone talking McNeil down needs to remember this guy went from being an easy starter who saved us from relegation, to hearing Moyes tell the media he's a "squad player" which I think was a pretty poo thing to do. Yes we've strengthened in his positions but that shouldn't rule him out as much as it has.
If the lad wants a move I hope he gets one, I'd be sorry to see him go as he's been a creative player and can play multiple positions, but he deserves better than what he's getting right now.

I do feel sorry for Dwight in some ways, and I don’t in others
Important player the last couple seasons to getting no minutes at all.
Do think he should have a better attitude regardless. Do also think he should also have been given more minutes.
The biggest issue for me is that if we take an injury to Grealish or Illy we have Dibbling and McNeil to come on, neither given any minutes really, so are massively under cooked - I personally don’t think either are good enough but you have to have them ready and interested if needed..
